Flexible circuits

Flexible circuits
They are often used in various applications where space savings, flexibility or production constraints limit the serviceability of rigid pcb or hand wiring. A common application of flex circuits is in computer keyboards. Most keyboards use flex circuits for the switch matrix.

Flat Flexible Cable (FFC) are multiple very thin (0,07 mm) cupper strips who are laminated between 2 layers of 0,05 mm of PET. Flexible Printed Circuits (FPC) are made with a photolithographic technology. Both can be terminated with our tooling, it is only necessary to adjust the crimp height.

All Flexible circuits

  • Manual bench press
  • FFY23012

Can crimp a Clincher™ connectors up to 32 positions. For small and medium volume production.

  • Manual tools
  • Manual Flex-foil Tool

Pull the lever to crimp one contact, the foil shifts to the next track. Foil positioning is mechanic. Ideal for small volume production and prototypes.

  • HT270.02

Crimps 2, 3 or 4 contacts in one time. (Partno: HT270.02 ) For small series of foils with 2 to 4 tracks.
